How do I work out my position size for an options trade?
Divide the amount you are willing to lose on the trade by the maximum loss of one contract. The position size calculator does this for you: enter your account size, the percentage you will risk and the trade's max loss per contract.
Are the trading calculators free?
Yes. Every tool in the toolbox is free, and you don't need an account. The calculators run in your browser, and the guides, planners and courses are free downloads.
Do the tools tell me which trades to take?
No. The tools only do the maths on the numbers you enter, such as risk, breakevens and expectancy. They are for education, not financial advice, and every trading decision is yours.
